I know it's been quite a while since I've posted a prompt. I apologize. Today's prompt is a simple phrase. It can be used verbatim in the piece or it can inspire the piece. That's entirely up to you. :o). Any genre, between 500 and 1500 words. I found the prompt on a Nano list, I believe. Anyway, here it is. I hope it sparks your creativity.
Prompt: The knight lifted his sword amidst the
dragon's flaming breath. . .
God bless and have fun.

Hi all. Here's the next prompt. I posted this to my 500 club at the Writer's voice, but for this site, the challenge is any genre, including poetry, up to 5,000 words. I got the image from a friend via e-mail. She posted it on her Mulitply site. I don't know who the image belongs to, but will gladly give credit. I hope it sparks your creativity.
God bless and have fun.

Hi, all,
Sorry it's been so long since I've posted a prompt. Things have been a little crazy this year. But I've got a prompt for you now. :o) My friend, KaeB from Multiply posted this as a challenge for micro fiction. I don't know where she got it, but I'm more than willing to give credit.
I'm upping the word count allotment a bit. Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to write a story, snippet, scene or poem of no more than 500 words inspired by the image. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. God bless and have fun...

I got this picture prompt from my friend, Benning's Facebook page. I'm not sure who took the photo, but will gladly give credit if someone does know.
Prompt: Write a story, chapter, scene, poem or song lyrics, inspired by, though not necessarily including this image. Any genre. No more than 2000 words. Extra bonus points if you stretch a little and write something you don't normally write, or have not written in for a while. :o) Have fun with this.

Here's a phrase prompt for you. You do not have to use the phrase in your story/scene/chapter/snippet. Try to keep it between 1000 and 2000 words, any genre. Let your imaginations play and have fun.

I'm sorry I haven't been around the last month or so. I tried to spend less time on the internet during Lent and I've also been really busy. But I'm here now, with a brand new prompt. I hope you like it and it sparks your creativity. :o) No word or genre limits. Just have fun and write.
Prompt: It seemed to him/her that even the silence had died to nothing.
